CASH & ROCKET Unveils 2025 Italy Car Tour in Reggio Calabria

In a landmark press conference in Reggio Calabria, CASH & ROCKET proudly joined forces with Giuseppe Falcomatà, Mayor of the City of Reggio Calabria and the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria, to unveil exciting plans for the 2025 Italy Car Tour. The highly anticipated event, which combines charity, culture, and iconic Italian landscapes, will take place this June.

Julie Brangstrup, the visionary founder of CASH & ROCKET, shared the stage with Mayor Falcomatà and other distinguished local figures including Fabrizio Sudano, Director of the National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria and Lidia Papisca from the Grace Association, to outline the details of the upcoming Car Tour. Set to begin on June 5th in Rome, the tour will traverse the stunning Amalfi Coast, Calabria, and culminate in the majestic cities of Catania and Taormina in Sicily.

Over the course of four thrilling days, 80 unstoppable women will drive 40 red sports cars, raising funds and awareness for both global and local charitable organizations.

This year’s tour will shine a spotlight on two extraordinary charity partners: Save the Children, a globally recognized leader in children’s rights and welfare, and Sumbandila, an educational non-profit empowering rural South African children through education and mentorship. In a significant expansion, CASH & ROCKET is also thrilled to partner with local Italian charities in each region the tour will visit, ensuring that the event’s impact reaches communities across the country. With the full support of regional mayors, including those from Reggio Calabria, Catania, and Taormina, the event is poised to have a far-reaching influence.

In Calabria, CASH & ROCKET will partner with Associazione Grace, an organization dedicated to supporting women experiencing challenging circumstances. The Grace ETS Association provides care to those undergoing cancer treatment and survivors of violence, promoting well-being, self-esteem, and serenity through beauty, emotional support, and compassionate listening.

Every CASH & ROCKET Car Tour raises over £400,000 to support women’s empowerment, and the 2025 Italy Car Tour will specifically benefit charities that champion education for women and girls. In addition to its fundraising efforts, the tour will provide a platform for raising awareness of the importance of female empowerment and educational access for all.

In a special addition to the tour, Reggio Calabria will host a public concert on June 7th, offering both a celebration of local music and an opportunity for the public to engage with the event. The concert will be a ticketed event, with complimentary tickets available to local residents. This initiative reflects the organizers’ commitment to not only supporting global causes but also giving back to the communities that host the event. The tour will culminate on June 8th with a stunning finale in Sicily, where the women of CASH & ROCKET will visit Catania and Taormina. Both Enrico Trantino, Mayor of Catania, and Cateno De Luca, Mayor of Taormina, have expressed their full support for the initiative, eager to highlight Sicily’s rich cultural heritage and amplify the impact of the event’s fundraising efforts.
